"Ukrainian Parliament members accepted the tragic news concerning a terrible tragedy in a coal mine of Wujek-Szlensk in southern Poland with deep sorrow", - read the telegrams.

On behalf of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and on his own behalf, Volodymyr Lytvyn conveyed heartfelt condolences and words of support to the bereaved families and wished rapid recovery to the injured.
